The economic systems characterized by a strong presence of SMEs need a solid infrastructure & services platform.

The Province of Milan has managed to set up innovative tools for the re-qualification/ development of its territory (especially for the areas affected by the industrial restructuring processes) and  aimed at improving the quality and competitiveness of SMEs, by offering qualified territorial services and a direct support for the start-up phase of companies.

The most important measure undertaken by the Province of Milan for the achievement of these objectives is represented by the creation and support (in collaboration with institutional & private partners) of Institutions and Development Agencies in order to facilitate the productive and entrepreneurial development of the territory they work on.
